The lubrication status of LC piston rotor pump directly affects the service life of core components such as rotor, bearings, and transmission shaft, and also determines the smoothness and delivery rate of the pump body. Standardized lubrication management can reduce wear, decrease the occurrence of failures, and extend the overall service life of the equipment. Lubrication use must follow the full process requirements of adaptation selection, regular control, and standardized filling to determine the lubrication effect.

Lubrication selection is a fundamental prerequisite, which should be in line with the structural characteristics and operating conditions of LC piston rotor pumps. Only by selecting the right lubricating medium can the lubrication effect be exerted. The movement mode of different parts of LC piston rotor pump is different, and there are also differences in lubrication requirements. It is necessary to choose the corresponding category of lubrication products for different parts, and not mix the same lubricating oil for all parts. The matching part between the rotor and the cavity should be lubricated according to the characteristics of the conveying medium. If the conveying medium allows oil and liquid to mix, the medium itself can be used for lubrication, or lubricating oil compatible with the medium can be selected to avoid contaminating the conveying medium with lubricating grease and prevent dilution and damage to the lubricating oil film; If conveying special media, a vertical external lubrication system should be used, and anti emulsification and non corrosive lubricating grease should be selected to prevent the media from entering the lubrication area and damaging the lubrication effect.

The bearing and transmission shaft transmission parts should use pressure and anti-wear lubricating oil or grease. LC piston rotor pumps are subjected to high alternating loads during operation, and pressure and anti-wear additives can form a stable protective film on the metal surface to avoid direct contact with the metal due to dry friction and reduce wear. Do not use lubricating products containing corrosive additives to avoid corroding the shaft sleeve and rotor sealing components, which may affect the sealing performance. If the operating environment temperature is too high, lubricating products with good high-temperature stability should be selected to avoid the lubricating grease becoming thin and deteriorating under high temperature, and losing its lubricating effect; When operating in low temperature environments, it is necessary to use lubricating oil with a low pour point to avoid viscosity increase and poor fluidity at low temperatures, which may prevent it from reaching the lubrication area.

When adding lubricating grease, it is necessary to follow the standard requirements, ensure proper lubrication, and avoid excessive or insufficient lubrication. Before the new equipment is put into use, sufficient lubricating grease should be added to each lubrication part first, and it cannot be directly tested without load to avoid dry grinding and damage to components. Before filling, clean the dust and impurities around the oil injection port to avoid impurities entering the lubrication area during the filling process. Impurities entering can scratch the bearing and shaft surface, accelerating wear. The filling amount should meet the requirements. Insufficient lubricating grease can lead to insufficient lubrication and accelerate component wear; Excessive filling can cause the temperature of the lubrication area to rise, and the grease is prone to oxidation and deterioration. It can also increase operating resistance and consume more power. Therefore, the filling amount should be controlled according to the characteristics of the area. The filling amount of the bearing chamber only needs to be the correct proportion to fill the space, and should not be filled completely.

For parts lubricated with grease, the old grease should be drained when filling, and the new grease should fill all the gaps. Do not only supplement without replacing, as the old grease contains metal debris and oxidized impurities generated by wear, which will continue to wear down the components if left inside. During the pressure filling process, slowly rotate the pump shaft to ensure that the lubricating grease evenly covers the surfaces of each rolling element and raceway, ensuring that the lubrication coverage is complete and no positions are missed.

Lubrication control in daily operation is the core of maintaining stable lubrication effect. To establish a regular inspection system, the temperature of each lubrication part should be checked regularly during daily operation. Abnormal temperature rise is often a signal of lubrication failure. Insufficient lubrication and grease deterioration can lead to temperature rise. If abnormal temperature is found, the cause should be immediately investigated, and lubricating grease should be replenished or replaced in a timely manner to avoid bearing burnout caused by high temperature. Check if there is any oil leakage in the lubrication area. Leakage can cause continuous loss of lubricating grease and a decrease in oil level. If leakage is found, the sealing problem should be dealt with first, and then sufficient lubricating grease should be replenished. Do not only replenish without treating the leakage, as continuous leakage will lead to insufficient lubrication in the later stage.

Regularly check the oil quality of lubricating grease, visually observe the color and condition of the grease. If the lubricating grease turns black or turbid, or if impurities, emulsifiers, or layers appear, or if the grease becomes hard, thin, or clumped, it indicates that the grease has deteriorated and needs to be replaced completely. It cannot be used anymore. Deteriorated lubricating grease not only fails to provide lubrication, but also accelerates component wear. The operating environment has a lot of dust and high humidity, and the faster the lubricating oil is contaminated and deteriorated, the shorter the inspection cycle and the more frequent the inspection.

Regularly replacing lubricating grease should follow standardized procedures and ensure complete replacement. When replacing lubricating oil, first drain the old oil from the lubrication chamber, open the oil drain port to allow all the old oil to flow out, then add a small amount of clean new oil to flush the lubrication chamber, remove residual old oil and impurities, drain the flushing oil, tighten the oil drain plug, and inject new lubricating oil to the specified oil level. When replacing the lubricating grease, disassemble the end caps of the lubrication parts, clean all the old lubricating grease, clean the bearings and inner walls of the cavity, remove the old grease residue and impurities, blow dry and then apply new lubricating grease to ensure even filling.

Do not mix different types of lubricating grease. Mixing grease from different regions may cause chemical reactions, resulting in decreased lubrication performance and accelerated deterioration. When replacing the model, all old grease should be cleaned before adding new grease. The external circulation lubrication system should regularly clean the lubricating oil filter, filter out impurities and metal debris in the oil, and keep the lubricating oil clean. If the filter is clogged, it should be cleaned or the filter element should be replaced in a timely manner to avoid oil circuit blockage and insufficient oil supply.

The lubrication and protection of LC piston rotor pumps that have been idle for a long time should also comply with corresponding requirements. Before storage, replace with brand new lubricating grease, fill all lubrication parts with rust proof lubricating grease, and rotate the pump shaft to evenly cover all metal surfaces with grease, forming a rust proof protective film to avoid rusting of lubrication parts during storage. Before reusing after long-term storage, check whether the lubricating grease has deteriorated. If the grease has deteriorated, it should be replaced again. Then start the pump body and let it idle for a period of time to evenly distribute the lubricating grease to all parts. After confirming that the lubrication is normal, load and run it again.

The stability precautions in lubrication operations cannot be ignored. When adding lubricating grease, the site should be kept clean, and spilled grease should be cleaned up in a timely manner to avoid slipping and causing stability accidents. The replaced waste grease should be collected and disposed of centrally, and should not be dumped indiscriminately, polluting the environment. When repairing the lubrication system, the power should be cut off first, and the pump body should be confirmed to have stopped rotating before operation to avoid stability accidents.

The lubrication usage standards for LC piston rotor pumps are centered on adapting selection, standardizing filling, and regular control. By implementing requirements in every aspect from selection to daily maintenance, the lubrication status of each moving part can be determined, reducing wear and tear, lowering the incidence of failures, ensuring smooth operation of the pump body, extending equipment service life, fully utilizing the conveying performance of LC piston rotor pumps, and achieving long-term stable operation needs.
