This dry friction state generates a large amount of heat, causing the temperature of key components such as bearings and rotors to soar. Excessive lubricating oil will be violently stirred, generating a large amount of frictional heat and causing abnormal temperature rise of the equipment. At the same time, excessive lubricating oil will increase the pressure on the seals, accelerate their aging and failure, and cause leakage problems. To address the issue of insufficient lubrication, it is necessary to establish a lubrication management system and regularly check the oil level and quality of the lubricating oil. The operation and maintenance personnel should select the appropriate grade of lubricating oil according to the requirements of the equipment manual, replenish or replace the lubricating oil on time, and keep the oil level within the normal range. For equipment that has been out of use for a long time, it is necessary to check the condition of the lubricating oil before starting and replace it if necessary to avoid equipment damage caused by the deterioration or lack of lubricating oil. At the same time, it is necessary to increase inspections of the lubrication system, promptly clear blocked oil circuits, repair leaking parts, and ensure that the lubricating oil can smoothly reach all lubrication points.
The key to dealing with excessive lubrication is to strictly control the amount of lubricating oil added. Operation and maintenance personnel should use refueling tools and refuel according to the oil level standards specified by the equipment, avoiding operating based on experience or intuition. After filling, it is necessary to confirm whether the oil level is normal through devices such as oil level gauges. If there is an excess, the excess lubricating oil should be promptly extracted. In addition, it is necessary to regularly clean the lubrication system, promptly discharge accumulated sludge and impurities, and maintain smooth oil flow. During the operation of the equipment, pay close attention to operating parameters such as temperature and noise. Once abnormalities are found, promptly investigate whether they are caused by excessive lubrication and take corresponding adjustment measures.
