Briefly introduce the design points and common problems of stainless steel gear

The stainless steel gear oil pump outputs a stable balance of pressure and speed to the mold head. In many production processes, high pressure and low outlet pressure are also common. The purpose of establishing high back pressure on the extruder is to mix and melt, while the flow rate through the die is adjusted by a pump to achieve the final product size. On an extrusion line with the assistance of a stainless steel gear oil pump, the pressure of the stainless steel gear oil pump can be maintained relatively low (usually 500psi). Therefore, during the pressure conveying process from the screw of the extruder to the gear oil pump, the backflow of materials can be reduced. From a hydraulic perspective, stainless steel gear oil pump is a device that is easier to establish pressure than extruder. Therefore, under a given die pressure, the output of a screw extruder can be controlled. The replacement of the sealing gasket for stainless steel gear oil pumps is a crucial issue for the long-term stable operation of stainless steel gear oil pump products.

Several issues to note for stainless steel gear oil pump:

1. Attention should be paid to the problem of high temperature liquid vaporization in sealing, which may cause dry friction in the mechanical seal.

2. As the strength of the material is related to temperature, the strength needs to be recalculated by checking the temperature and pressure gauge of the relevant material. Including flanges, wall thickness, bolts, etc.

3. Apply intermediate support structure in the structure.

4. The layout of related cooling pipelines and instruments is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.

5. The temperature is very high, and the impeller should pay attention to its anti cavitation performance.

6. A dedicated hot screen or cold water chamber should be used to cool down from the sealing point to the coupling point, as general motors have temperature limitations.

7. The high-temperature stainless steel gear oil pump adopts oil lubrication, and the brand should be matched with the temperature of the bearing box.

When using a stainless steel gear oil pump, carefully observe the operation of the pump after connecting the power. The water should be continuously and evenly discharged, and the pump should be free of vibration and noise before use. If there is a sudden shutdown during operation, the power should be immediately disconnected and the cause checked. The interval between two starting times of the gear oil pump should be limited to the complete return of water in the pump. If started too early, the motor may burn out due to excessive resistance and water hammer in the water pipe. In addition, if the water pump is installed in the well, it should be noted that the flow rate of the water pump should meet the normal water output of the well, otherwise it will cause empty operation and burn out the motor.

In the cost structure of injection molded products, electricity accounts for a considerable proportion. According to the requirements of the stainless steel gear oil pump equipment process, the power consumption of the gear oil pump motor accounts for as much as 50% -65% of the total power consumption of the equipment, thus demonstrating energy-saving potential. The all electric injection machine has inherent energy-saving effects, but as mentioned earlier, the high cost of this type of model greatly limits its application range; At the same time, its technical difficulty is relatively high, and currently it is almost monopolized by enterprises. Although some manufacturers and enterprises in China have launched their own fully electric injection machines, the technical aspects of their products still need to be tested by the market.

During the use of stainless steel gear oil pump, there may be a problem of the pump suddenly not feeding. If this problem occurs, it should be checked and dealt with in a timely manner:

1. The valves of the pump inlet and outlet pipelines are not fully opened, which can also cause a small amount, and corresponding inspections should be carried out.

2. If the inlet pipeline of the pump is blocked or there is a large amount of air leakage, the inlet pipeline should be checked accordingly.

3. The internal wear of the pump is severe, causing the total clearance between the gear end face and the end cover shaft to exceed the standard. A large amount of medium from the gear oil pump outlet returns to the pump inlet, and the pump should be stopped for inspection.

4. If the motor speed is insufficient or reversed, the motor should be checked and appropriate measures should be taken based on the inspection results.

5. The valve spring of the gear oil pump itself has failed, and a large amount of medium from the pump outlet has returned to the inlet, causing neglect. The solution is to check and replace the spring.

Additionally, it should be noted that stainless steel gear oil pumps are not suitable for transporting liquids containing solid particles or high volatility, low flash point liquids; During long-term operation, the gears inside the stainless steel gear oil pump are prone to wear and tear, resulting in a low flow rate of the conveying medium. The flange form of stainless steel gear oil pump is different, and the required gaskets are also different. Smooth surface flanges are generally only used for low pressure, with thin soft sealing gaskets; Under high pressure, if the strength of the flange is sufficient, a smooth surface flange can also be used, but a thick soft gasket or a wrapped sealing gasket with an inner reinforcing ring or reinforcing ring should be used. In this situation, metal gaskets are also not suitable because the required clamping force is too high, causing significant deformation of the bolts and making it difficult for the flange to seal tightly. If a metal gasket is to be used, the smooth surface should be reduced to minimize its contact area with the gasket. In this way, under the same bolt tension, the compressive stress on the narrow smooth surface after reduction will increase.
