When the teeth shift from meshing to disengagement, a local vacuum is formed on the suction side, and the liquid is sucked in. The sucked liquid fills the various tooth valleys of the gear and is carried to the discharge side. When the gear enters meshing, the liquid is squeezed out, forming a high-pressure liquid and discharged outside the pump through the discharge port of the pump.
