Maintenance points and upkeep of asphalt insulation pump

After using the asphalt insulation pump for a period of time, the gears will gradually wear out during the continuous rotation process, causing a decrease in flow rate and delivery pressure. In order to achieve the initial usage conditions, it is necessary to replace the oil pump with a new one or repair the oil pump. Here are several key points for maintenance.

1. The shaft sleeve needs to be replaced as it constantly rubs against the end face of the gear. Over time, the gap may become too large. When replacing the gear, it is necessary to replace it together.

2. The oil seal needs to be replaced with a new one. After prolonged use, the old oil seal may be affected by friction and corrosion, and therefore needs to be replaced with a new one to ensure airtightness and prevent leakage.

3. The gears need to be replaced as they are worn and the gap between them and the pump body is too large, so a new gear needs to be replaced.

4. The installation time gap is very important. If the gap is too large, there will be no suction and low pressure. If the gap is too small, the pump will have difficulty rotating. Therefore, when using a cushion during installation, it is necessary to try to install it. After the pump is installed, it should be able to rotate by hand, but not too loosely.

The asphalt insulation pump mainly consists of gears, shafts, pump bodies, valves, and shaft end seals. The gears have good hardness and strength after heat treatment, and are installed together with the shaft in a replaceable shaft sleeve for operation. The lubrication of all parts inside the pump is automatically achieved through the use of the output medium during pump operation.

The selection of materials for the production and processing of asphalt insulation pumps is important in the selection of high-temperature industrial pumps. Asphalt insulated pumps are commonly used to transport highly corrosive, abrasive, or volatile fluids. The materials of the pump casing, shaft, and bearings should initially match the liquid being pumped. When considering high temperatures, the asphalt insulation pump becomes more complex and even requires consideration of the thermal expansion properties of different materials. Asphalt insulation pumps need to consider different quality factors in their use to play an important role in their value and performance in the industry.

The asphalt insulation pump is equipped with a pair of rotating gears in the pump body, one active and one passive, which rely on the mutual meshing of the two gears to divide the entire working chamber inside the pump into two upright parts. A is the suction chamber, and B is the discharge chamber. When the pump is running, the active gear drives the passive gear to rotate. When the teeth disengage from the meshing, a local vacuum is formed on the suction side A, and the liquid is sucked in. The liquid sucked in fills the various tooth valleys of the gear and is carried to the discharge side B. When the gear enters meshing, the liquid is squeezed out, forming high-pressure liquid and discharged outside the pump through the discharge inlet of the pump.

Maintenance of asphalt insulation pump equipment

1. We should attach importance to the unified management of chemical asphalt insulation pump equipment. Establish a system to manage asphalt insulation pump equipment. When determining the maintenance content, it is necessary to list the inspection contents in detail, down to the components to be inspected. At the same time, it is also necessary to clarify the handling procedures for problems with the operation and maintenance unit, so that when problems occur, the repair procedures can be immediately clarified and equipment maintenance can be implemented immediately. At the same time, it is necessary to clarify the maintenance system, specifying the maintenance time, maintenance content, maintenance standards, etc. of the equipment.

2. Implement full process and dynamic maintenance. When repairing asphalt insulation pump equipment, inspect and maintain the equipment before and after use. Once any problems are found during inspection, they should be immediately resolved to avoid hidden issues and minimize equipment energy consumption.

3. Implement the contracting system. During the maintenance of the equipment, the specific tasks of each maintenance personnel and each operator should be clearly defined. Both maintenance personnel and operators should carry out daily maintenance of the asphalt insulation pump equipment, establish a responsibility system, and consider the proportion of equipment as a key indicator related to employee performance and bonus evaluation.

Characteristics of asphalt insulation pump:

1. Simple and compact structure, easy to use and maintain.

2. Due to its self-priming property, there is no need to inject liquid before each pump start.

3. The use of elastic couplings to transmit power can compensate for minor deviations caused during installation. The buffering effect that can be exerted when the oil pump is inevitably subjected to hydraulic shock during operation.

4. Lubrication is automatically achieved through the conveyed liquid, so there is no need to add additional lubricating fluid during daily work.

The development characteristics of asphalt insulation pumps. Currently, although domestic enterprises have produced many gear lubrication pumps suitable for transporting high viscosity liquids, there are still some problems in material selection, leakage and noise prevention due to the lack of testing methods. Especially, there is a significant gap between domestic asphalt insulation pumps and products in terms of speed, performance, and service life. Therefore, most of the asphalt insulation pumps used in industries such as petroleum and chemical in China still rely on them. The heavier the pump casing of the gear lubrication pump, the higher its strength and resistance to temperature and pressure. The material of the pump body is often ductile iron, which can also be cast by casting aluminum alloy hard molds or processed by extruding aluminum alloy profiles. When the conveyed medium is corrosive, stainless steel material with relatively good cost can be used. Asphalt insulation pumps often use alloy steel with high nickel and chromium content as the pump casing material, which has good comprehensive performance in strength, performance, and cost.

Asphalt insulation pump is suitable for conveying lubricating liquids, with a temperature not exceeding 70 ℃. If a high temperature of 200 ℃ is required, materials can be used, with a viscosity of 5 × 10-5~1.5 × 10-3m2/S. This pump is not suitable for transporting corrosive, hard particle or fiber containing, highly volatile or low flash point liquids such as gasoline, benzene, etc. Pre operation inspection and motor standard for asphalt insulation pump: Before using the asphalt insulation pump, check that all components are in good condition before starting up.

Asphalt insulation pump cannot be used before. Gear pumps should not be operated idle. When in use, stop the pump immediately after suction is complete, otherwise it will accelerate the wear of impeller seals, bearings, and other components. It is also possible to wear out the pump tube, as the no-load speed of the pump motor can reach 10000 revolutions per minute. The asphalt insulation pump should replace the electric brushes in a timely manner. When the electric brushes are worn out and cannot be used, they should be replaced in a timely manner (two electric brushes should be replaced at the same time). Otherwise, poor contact between the electric brushes and the commutator may cause ring damage, damage the commutator, and in severe cases, burn out the armature. Asphalt insulation pumps should be regularly inspected and maintained, and electric oil drum pumps should be regularly inspected and maintained. The power cord should be checked for internal connections, plugs, switches, insulation resistance, loose brush tailstock, contact between commutator and electric brush, appropriate interruption of armature winding stage expansion stator winding, and damage to bearings and rotating parts.

The asphalt insulation pump can only be used when the voltage of the circuit does not exceed ± 10% of the voltage specified on the nameplate of the pumping pump. Asphalt insulation pump device. How to equip the asphalt insulation pump? After opening the box, assemble it according to the structural diagram, connect the motor, and then connect it directly to the motor, so that the pump body is integrated with the motor, and connect the water outlet pipe. Asphalt insulation pump cannot be used in the following situations. If insulation damage, power line or cable sheath rupture, plug and socket cracking or poor contact, intermittent operation, severe sparks and other faults are found during use, the motor casing should be repaired immediately.
