The 2CY series gear pump is a horizontal external meshing volumetric pump that relies on the alternating changes in chamber volume during the meshing process of a pair of gears to complete the suction and discharge of liquid medium. The equipment adopts a floating bearing sleeve layout, which can automatically adjust the end face clearance according to the working pressure, and has stable volumetric efficiency. It is suitable for medium transportation, pressurization, equipment lubrication and other working conditions.
The main components of the whole machine include the pump body, front and rear pump covers, driving gear, driven gear, transmission shaft, floating bearing sleeve, and shaft end sealing assembly. Gears undergo heat treatment, resulting in surface hardness and energy. The running friction pair relies on the conveying medium to achieve self lubrication, without the need for a separate lubrication system. Different shell materials can be selected according to the characteristics of the medium; Insulation jacket can be added for conveying easily solidified materials; Copper gears can be replaced under specific working conditions. The pump body of this series does not integrate an overflow structure, and the system overload protection requires external pipeline valves.
The power drives the driving gear through the coupling, and the driven gear rotates synchronously in the opposite direction. The gear disengages from the meshing area, the cavity volume expands to form negative pressure, and the medium enters the tooth groove; The medium is transported to the discharge area by gears, and the gears mesh with each other to compress the chamber volume. The medium is compressed and transported outward, achieving continuous feeding through circulation. The flow rate is linearly related to the speed, and the conveying capacity can be adjusted by using a speed control device. The equipment has basic self-priming performance and can be started and stopped multiple times after the initial filling of the medium.
The sealing form can be selected based on the temperature and viscosity of the medium, such as packing seal or mechanical seal. The whole machine adopts a split assembly structure, and during maintenance, the pump cover can be disassembled to replace the seals, check the status of the gears and bearing sleeves, without the need to dismantle the pipelines as a whole. The insulation renovation style can be adapted to viscous, low-temperature and easily solidified media.
Suitable for conveying liquid media without hard particles, fiber impurities, and lubricating properties. The viscosity range of the medium is 5-1500mm ²/s, and it can be adapted to viscous materials after reducing the speed; The applicable medium temperature varies depending on the material structure. Can transport fluids such as lubricating oil, diesel, fuel oil, etc. Not suitable for transporting strongly corrosive media, media containing a large amount of solid particles, and low flash point volatile media.
The equipment is fixed and installed on a base, with standard foot holes reserved, and flange interfaces adapted to conventional industrial pipelines. Correct coaxiality during coupling assembly to reduce vibration wear. It is recommended to install a filtering device in the suction pipeline to prevent impurities from entering the pump chamber. Before starting, the pump chamber should retain the medium and it is forbidden to idle for a long time. The pump body equipped with insulation structure can preheat the chamber before transporting easily solidified materials.
Daily maintenance includes regular cleaning of filters, inspection of seal leaks, monitoring of operating temperature rise and vibration. After conveying viscous media, use clean media to circulate and flush the pump chamber to avoid material drying and adhesion. Long term shutdown should remove residual media from the cavity to reduce the risk of corrosion and material solidification. The system operation requires a pressure protection device to be installed in the external pipeline to prevent component damage caused by abnormal pressure rise.
The equipment has a wide pressure range, stable structure, and is mostly used for lubrication oil supply, fuel transportation, fluid pressurization, and other working conditions. Its components are universal and the daily operation and maintenance workload is moderate.
