The BRY centrifugal hot oil pump is a conventional product in China. After assessment of its usage, the high failure rate areas are the two major problems of easy damage to the front and rear bearings and leakage of the shaft end seal. In 2007, technical personnel from Botou Special Pump Valve Co., Ltd. studied and tested the force distribution diagram of the shaft, impeller, and bearing under the working dynamics of this pump for nearly a year, identified the main force points causing bearing damage, and selected the appropriate bearing shape and optimal force point for this torque. The improved BRY After nearly four years of on-site user assessment, the probability of bearing damage in the centrifugal hot oil pump is 0 within one year, 0.5% within two years, 3.5% within three years, and 9% within four years. The main reasons for damage in the fourth year of operation are: failure to lubricate the pump bearing body according to regulations and excessive impurities in the lubrication chamber of the bearing body due to improper cleaning and maintenance. Therefore, the user is reminded to regularly check whether the lubricating oil in the pump bearing body is normal. The bearing body should be shut down and cleaned once a year, and clean lubricating oil should be added for maintenance.
