What causes vibration in stainless steel gear pumps?

1. Vibration caused by installation and assembly deviation of stainless steel gear pump. The horizontal deviation of the stainless steel gear pump body and thrust pad after installation and the vertical deviation of the lifting pipe will cause vibration of the pump body, and these three control values are interrelated. After the installation of the pump body, the total length of the lifting pipe and pump head (excluding the filter screen) is 26m, both of which are suspended. If the verticality deviation of the lifting pipe is too large, it will inevitably cause severe vibration of the lifting pipe and shaft during the rolling of the pump. Excessive verticality deviation of the lifting pipe will also generate alternating stress during pump operation, leading to the fracture of the lifting pipe. Installation and assembly clearance errors are important causes of pump body vibration.

2. Vibration caused by overload of stainless steel gear pump. The thrust tile of the stainless steel gear pump body is made of tin based Babbitt alloy, allowing a load of 18 megapascals. When the stainless steel gear pump body is started, the lubrication of the thrust pad is in a boundary lubrication state. Electric butterfly valves and manual gate valves are installed at the outlet of the pump body. Opening the electric butterfly valve at the same time as starting the pump will inevitably cause severe vibration of the pump body and quickly burn out the thrust pad due to sedimentation of sediment causing the valve plate to fail to open or manual gate valve blockage caused by human factors, delayed exhaust, etc.
