Composition and maintenance methods of Roots oil pump

The Roots oil pump consists of pump body, pump cover, shaft, gear, rotor, packing, gland and other components. The pump has three forms of belt drive, gear reducer and variable frequency motor drive, which can be reversed. The two ends of the shaft are equipped with skeleton oil resistant seals, and the middle is equipped with an oil return device to prevent air intake or oil leakage. The pump is a positive displacement cam pump, and the power is transmitted to the gears through the shaft. A pair of synchronous gears drive the pump rotor to perform differential synchronous rotational motion, dividing the pump working chamber into a suction zone (low-pressure zone) and a discharge zone (high-pressure zone). As the pump rotor rotates, the medium is continuously sucked in from the low-pressure area and discharged from the high-pressure area to achieve the purpose of conveying the medium.
