Reciprocating pumps are widely used in oil mines. It is often used to transport liquids with high viscosity, high density, and high sand content under high pressure, while the flow rate is relatively small. According to their different purposes, reciprocating pumps used in oil mines are often given corresponding names. For example, in drilling engineering, reciprocating pumps used to transport and circulate drilling fluid to the bottom of the well are called drilling pumps or mud pumps in order to carry rock debris out of the well and supply power to the bottom of the well; A reciprocating pump that injects high-pressure cement into the wellbore to solidify the wellbore is called a cementing pump; In order to create artificial fractures in oil reservoirs, increase crude oil production and recovery, a reciprocating pump used to inject liquids or acid-base liquids containing a large amount of solid particles into the wellbore is called a fracturing pump; During the oil extraction process, the reciprocating pump used to pump crude oil in the well is called a pumping pump, and so on.
