Stainless steel insulated gear pump is a volumetric conveying equipment that adds an integrated insulation layer on the basis of a standard stainless steel gear pump. The pump body and pump cover have insulation channels, which can be used to circulate steam and thermal oil for heating, avoiding low-temperature solidification, crystallization, and wall hanging of the medium. The overcurrent components are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel, which is rust proof and will not contaminate the conveyed materials. They can be used with variable frequency motors and motors, and are applied in industries such as grain, oil, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, resin, and coating. They meet the requirements of continuous feeding in production lines and intermittent transfer in storage tanks.

The entire unit consists of a jacketed stainless steel pump body, front and rear insulation pump covers, heat-treated stainless steel master and slave gears, transmission shaft, thrust plate, shaft end sealing components, and a common base to form a conveying unit. Gears undergo precision grinding and surface hardening treatment, meshing, and stable volumetric efficiency; The pump chamber is equipped with an axial force balance flow channel to balance the axial thrust generated by high-pressure operation, reduce unilateral wear of the thrust plate, and ensure long-term continuous operation with low vibration and stable noise. The insulation layer fully covers the pump body and pump cover, providing uniform heating without insulation blind spots. It can also maintain the fluidity of the medium even when the machine is stopped, preventing viscous materials from clumping and sticking to the gears. The internal moving components rely on the self lubrication of the conveying medium, without the need for additional independent lubrication pipelines, simplifying the on-site pipeline layout.

The motor drives the gears to rotate synchronously through an elastic coupling, and the volume of the cavity on the side where the gears disengage expands to form negative pressure, causing the medium to be sucked into the tooth groove; The gear carries the medium to rotate to the oil pressure chamber, and the gears mesh with each other to squeeze the medium, forming a stable pressure and conveying it outward. The suction, pressurization, and discharge cycles run continuously. The flow rate is linearly related to the speed, and when combined with a frequency conversion system, the conveying volume can be flexibly adjusted, the output pressure is stable, and it has basic self-priming ability.

Most models have built-in reflux valves as emergency overload protection. When the outlet pipeline is blocked or the valve is closed, causing pressure buildup, the medium will reflux and release pressure inside, protecting the pump body and rear pipeline accessories. Valves are only suitable for temporary protection against sudden failures and cannot be used as long-term stabilizing devices. It is recommended to connect an independent overflow pipeline for constant pressure conditions. The inner wall of the pump body is smooth, and the material is not easy to adhere and accumulate. It is easy to circulate and rinse after the operation is completed.

The sealing form can be selected with packing seal or hard alloy mechanical seal as needed. Select sealing components for transporting edible oil and syrup; Transporting weak acid and alkali, solvent replaceable fluororubber seals. The whole machine adopts a modular structure, and maintenance does not require dismantling the whole machine. Removing the outer pump cover can replace the sealing parts, shortening the downtime of the production line. The applicable medium temperature can reach 180 ℃, and continuous temperature control is achieved through insulation jacket.

On the media adaptation level, the stainless steel thermal insulation gear pump is suitable for conveying liquid media without hard sharp particles and with fluidity. The medium kinematic viscosity range is 5~1500mm2/s. It is suitable for cooking oil, rosin resin, asphalt additives, syrup, essence, chemicals, lubricating oil, and mild corrosive chemical auxiliary materials. 304 stainless steel models are commonly used for transporting grain, oil, and ordinary daily chemical raw materials; The 316 stainless steel model is suitable for corrosive chemical solutions and raw materials. The equipment is not suitable for conveying media containing strong oxidizing acids and large amounts of hard solid particles.

In terms of installation and matching, the horizontal base of the whole machine is reserved with standard foot installation holes, and two types of inlet and outlet interfaces, flange and thread, are available for easy docking of soft and hard pipelines. Strictly calibrate the coaxiality when assembling the elastic coupling to reduce vibration wear. It is recommended to install a pre filter on the suction pipeline to prevent impurities from scratching the gear meshing surface; The pipeline joint is equipped with a sealing gasket, which causes insufficient suction due to air intake. Before starting, it is necessary to inject the medium into the pump chamber, and it is forbidden to idle for a long time to avoid seal failure due to dry grinding; When transporting materials that are prone to solidification, preheat the pump body with a heat source before starting up.

At the level of daily maintenance operations, the pump body adopts modular assembly, and the gears, thrust plates, and seals can be disassembled separately. Simple and universal tools can be used to complete maintenance. After conveying viscous and easily dry materials, rinse the pump chamber with clean water or a matching solvent circulation to prevent the materials from drying and sticking to the gears. Regularly inspect the sealing leakage and motor operating temperature rise, and promptly clean the filter debris. Long term shutdown to empty the residual medium inside the pump chamber, release pressure from the insulation pipeline, and take internal rust prevention measures.

During long-term use, we adhere to pre filtration, standardized start stop, and regular cleaning and maintenance, resulting in a lower overall failure rate. The equipment has a compact structure, with stainless steel material that combines hygiene and performance. The insulation structure solves the problem of medium solidification, and the comprehensive operation and maintenance cost is moderate.
